Do I HAVE to Turn into a Vampire?!

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 7:00 pm

I am questing with Serana and the message about my blood boiling in the sun appears and i even got a message saying i am growing hungry for blood and i'm hated by the people or something. You know know what i'm talking about? I didnt choose to be a vampire when i talked to Serana's father but i'm afraid that i still am.

Does this have to do with my soul being partially trapped to enter that place of souls where we saw her mother or the spike that went through my hand when i activated the whats-it-called?

Also, sometimes my stamina and magika doesn't recover on its own unless i eat something and i dont know if thats related to my vampire turning.

PLease let me know if i need to provide more info to get a good answer but i just want to be a normal healthy human and i have no idea why this is happening. thanks

No. You can still catch vampirism by random chance when being attacked by vampires, even if you sided with the DG and decided to be partially soul-trapped. I think you can even catch it from Serana if you get hit by her drain spell, but I'm not sure. Otherwise, you probably got infected during a random vampire raid or something, and didn't notice you caught a disease.

If you don't want vampirism, go talk to an Innkeeper about it and they'll set you on the right path.

You can get it from Serana's Drain spell. It's quite annoying to be honest.

thank u for the reply. i couldnt find my OWN thread (which happens alot with me) so i kind of re-posted the same question. someone told me to try cure disease potion and use a shrine. i did BOTH and got no results so i will try the innkeeper idea. thanks
