How to transport a custom weapon model from Blender?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 5:41 am

The question is not about CK at all. I wanted to make a new custom weapon and I made a M9 bayonete modele in Blender. But then I stuck with export. I don't have Nif scripts because my Blender version is 2.6.3 the latest Nif scripts is 2.5.5 I think + I need Python which is not matching with 2.5.5 because it is a wrong version. I do have NifScope. Basicly the question is how to transport a Blender model in Skyrim? If anyone knows not very confusing way please share it

Do yourself a favour and get the Blender 2.49b version, which has the proper NifScripts to import/export (it's up to version 2.5.8).
You can still create your weapon in 2.6, save it as a .blend file and open it in 2.49 to export a proper nif.

The Nifscripts available don't work with Skyrim, so it doesn't matter what version of Blender you use.
