Is there seriously on 4 different crossbows, with only 2 different skins?

I mean seriously... why can't Bethesda make more weapons?

Boring.

Please tell me I'm wrong, I just bought Dawnguard.

From what I read, there were only 2 types of crossbows in Morrowind. Idk how true it is as I have never played it.

Lots :D

No the point is, that I think it's stupid that the best crossbow is so easy to get... and then it gets really boring. I'm a huge crossbow fan
Also surprised that Morrowind had 2 crossbows also.

Its fun when you get weapon upgrades, especially when they look cool :) so why can't there be more....

I find the enhanced dwarven crossbow quite adequate :) 202 damage with 50% armor penetration. Mmmmm.

And, there was only one or two examples of one of those crossbows in the game, and I can remember only two NPCs (source for one of the Dwarven Xbows) ever using one against me.

And, talk about slow reloads, every time I tried to use one, I would die before I could get the second shot off.

Correct. Steel and Dwemer.

And you really should play it. Clunky combat, dated visuals and all.

the reload doesn't bother me. just keep moving around while reloading, carry a dagger or sword for if things get too close for using a crossbow
