Is there a mod that stops followers...

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 2:49 pm

...from getting right up in my face all the time? Especially Avulstein during the Missing in Action quest (he literally gets right up close and is constantly shoving me forward/blocking my way/etc and it's infuriating).

Also, if the mod exists/can be made, would it also be possible to stop NPCs from actively moving right in front of me when I'm attacking enemies (so tired of getting bounties because the guards are complete dumb***** and constantly go out of their way to stand right in front of me during fights).

Have http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1305051-relz-back-off-barbas/. It probably won't impact combat behavior.

Nice. Gonna grab it now, praying that it works.

I mean, I'm on the Missing in Action quest now, and it's like "No, Avulstein, YOUR BROTHER IS NOT HIDING IN MY FACE!!!"

It's sweet dude, but I think you might wanna reduce the distance a bit, Avulstein is supposed to greet his brother when I go into the interrogation room and after I've killed the interrogation dude but he didn't - not that I noticed, anyway - cos the room is kinda small and, while I am in it, he wouldn't actively join me by Thorald's side (meaning it could mess up more serious scripts, such as the one for the Gldergreen quest if you wanna go the peaceful route).

I would say the perfect distance would be to go into one of the cells in Northwatch keep where the four prisoners are, go right to the back wall, and make it so followers will not follow past the door and stay just far enough away from the door so you can leave the cell again. I really don't think it needs to be more than that tbh, cos it'd also stop followers from trapping you inside Falmer tents and the like as well.

Beyond that, it's an amazing mod, and one that will spare me so much frustration from now on, so thanks! :)

EDIT: Nevermind, it didn't affect the Gildergreen quest at all.

Not exactly what you have requested, since my mod doesnt apply/tweak follow package on followers, only on summoned creatures (it gives follow&keep distance package), but you should try my mod Nature of the beast II and its Minion system. It allows you to give commands to followers/summoned creatures like follow, wait, wait there and forward via shout button or custom buttons. Have a good fun!

Again, cool, and thanks for the feedback. Let me know *if there are any confirmed flipper babies or other birth defects and I'll get in there and tinker

*preferably in the aforelinked thread
