Since Im a Vampire, I was wondering if anyone knows if the Necromage perk makes your Vampire Lord powers stronger.

I would imagine no, seeing as your other perks seem to kind of go out of the window when you become a VL (as you can only see the VL tree).

However, I DO remember seeing something about the necromage perk making your restoration spells (healing, etc.) or various other buffs from other trees more effective if you're just a regular old vampire (seeing as you're technically undead). Might be worth investigating.

Hmm...I think your right, my Twin Souls perk doesnt work when Im a VL, I can only raise 1 dead person at a time, so probably not.

Yeah, that's a pretty good indication it won't boost your VL powers. But like I said, I THINK necromage will effect your self-targeted spells while you're just a normal vampire.

Yeah. Like I said earlier - I'm not positive, but I vaguely remember reading something about it.

So give it a shot. Maybe jump off a cliff or something to get yourself nice and injured, use a heal spell and see how much it actually heals you. If it's more effective than it should have been, then it works. If not, then necromage doesn't apply to you.

There are probably better ways to test it, but that's just the first thing that came to my mind ;)

I'm not sure, some perks definitely seem to be off, as your example with Twin Souks. Can anyone say if vampires naturally absorb magika? If not, then my Atronach perk still work (I don't have the stone).

Maybe not that perk. That spell, however, is probably codded differently: it might not even count as Conjuration. Not only are gargoyles neither atronachs nor undead, but when you can summon two, they're summoned together at once.

I know that the Avoid Death perk works in VL form. Maybe others.

Like this.

That said, I don't know whether the VL is coded as undead in the first place. Necromage probably works--that is, your spells are more effective against undead while in VL form--but whether that applies to they player depends on whether the VL form counts as undead in the first place.
