Creation Kit Stability

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 4:53 pm

So, I've been away from Skyrim modding for a while now - gave up due to the many bugs & issues with the CK. Now that Dawnguard is on the scene, I wanted to come back and see if there's been any improvement. Have they released updates to the CK and/or does it seem more stable now?

Take your pick of:

 :woot: :shakehead: :yuck:

It's like one of those

A bit more seriously: there's an issue with Dialogue/Quests/Start-GameEnabled which is causing lots of problems ... other than that it's much better than it was when it was first released. The vast majority of people are having fun and making mods ... But with a few tantrums along the way ;)

There was an update to the CK a few days ago. From what I understand it was related to the Dawnguard scripting. Aside from that I haven't seen any changes to the CK at all. I'm still fighting with the same 'ol bugs.

Well they finally killed off the navmesh bug which I believe has been around since oblivion/fallout. Yes it did introduce a couple of dialogue/quest bugs to the equation, but I believe these should be sorted soon as they seem too game-breaking to ignore
