Extracting a single sentence

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 7:13 pm

hey there...

i hope this is the right place to ask...

i just want to extract a couple of single sentences from the voices.bsa

but the problem is, i don't know WHICH ones are the corresponding .fuz files to the ingame strings.

i googled a page where there are the ILSTRINGS codes (can't post links... it seems there are all the ilstrings listed with running numbercodes in front.. like 000081A8 etc
but how can i get the soundfile for each string and find out which files i have to use (and avoid listening through all the sounds....)?

thanks in advance. <3

The form ID can be found in the creation kit if you are viewing the dilaogue using the Player Dialogues tab. Another route is to use the Character menu and select export dialogue. This will generate a giant text table with what is said within by all charcters in the game... The sentences will also have the FORM ID next to them. Then Use FOMM's -> Tools -> BSA Browser to extract the fuzz and xwma file. The form ID is part of the file name.
