Werewolf totems for howls? : V

I've been leveling up my werewolf, and I see that there are totems for your howls. And so, I am wondering where I can find these "totems" so I can summon my wolves.

You go through a llllllllllooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg line of quests before you get all three. It's random.

I was wondering this because I thought it would be the same as the vampire lord it would just pop up in your favorite ok now to do stupid radiant quests

They've assumed you've already gotten the most out of your vanilla werewolf. It makes sense. You wouldn't have been able to do it in vanilla, why put a shortcut in just because you bought Dawnguard?

Nope. You can't have access to all three Totem abilities at once either. You have to switch out the Totems by praying at them still. If you want the ability to summon 2 Werewolves by your side, you can't have the Totem of Fear ability, which means no Feed-Howling for quick feeds. The Totem of the Hunt is still a complete waste.

I dont think I can do the totem quests because aela only gives me go kill this animal quest and im stuck on one when I go to the location the sabre cat is nowhere to be found I think the reason why its not there is because I already cleared the place so I guess no werewolf perks for me

save outside if she's indoors talk to aela if not the quest you want load and talk to her again her quests refresh if you enter the area

This. I was doing these damned quests so that I could unbug the Totem ones, which apparently you can have trouble getting if you cured yourself and turned yourself back into a werewolf. I found workarounds up to the second totem, and now that I have come across this broken Animal Extermination, it seems I will never get the third. :dry:

How can you become a werewolf again because I didnt know that they added that I knew about wild werewolves but not getting it again

Hey, I'm getting dawnguard and im thinking of being a vamp hunter and a werewolf, but I killed Aela and thus cannot get the totems. So most of the perks are pointless. So my question is should I be werewolf or vampire?

vampire since you cant use some of the perks and with the vampire lord when you get new perks you just go to your favorites unlike the werewolf with those glitched up totem crap which a guy on here told me you can only have 1 at a time

Okay ill probably be a werewolf get all the perks get the achievement and then be a vampire
