Hes going to be using restoration, one handed, heavy armor with cloth/light boots/gloves/head, a bit of destruction for the flame rune/cloak and.. i'm not sure what else. I need ideas on a good race too.

What is this classed as? Vanquishing evil and whatnots. Its very much in the way of the Dawnguard. He doesn't thieve, lie or murder unjustly. Hes basically my own take on the very bland Badass evil hunter guy.

A Warrior that uses Restoration to heal his allies and Destructive holy fire to purge his enemies? Sounds like a Crusader to me.

Sounds like you're going into Cleric/Paladin territory.
Align yourself with one of the Nine, and go from there.
Granted, the wiki might be necessary to get the full gist of what each member of the Divine represents.

If he's going to be fighting Vampires and undead then Arkay sounds about right.

Arkay sounds very interesting, as are all of the nine divines. I've been reading up on the wiki. Reading all the lore gives me alot of inspiration.

Sounds like a holy warrior, which maybe could be refered to as a Templar as well?
