Status of the Navmesh bug?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 10:58 pm

Hi, I'm wondering what the status of the Navmesh bug is? I'm using version 1.6.89.0 of the CK and when I load my custom cell my follower doesn't come with me. Is this part of the bug, or do I need to do something in addition to creating a navmesh to get my followers to tag along? Enemies seem to attack properly and follow me arounf to try and kill me, but no followers. Any advice?

As far as I knew, this one had been squashed (finally) a couple patches ago.

Did you finalize both cells with your door entering and exiting your new cell? You will have a green triangle in the navmesh where the teleport markers sit.

Ah, I have no idea. I actually thought it was taken care of in a patch to Skyrim itself, not the construction kit. Could be mistaken though.

The bug was 100% offcially squashed a while ago.

It sounds like, as Balok stated, you forgot to finalize both navmeshes. Make sure you've clicked the checkmark to finalize the navmesh for both sides of the connecting door. (Interior and exterior, etc)

The triangle directly under the door should turn a teal/green color, indicating it's the navmesh tri attached to that teleport door. NPC's should then properly use the door as well.

Thanks! Finalizing the navmesh did the trick!
