Does anyone know where I can get an unenchant Royal vampire armor by any chance I like how they look on Derkeethus want to make some enchanted ones just for him.

I've found 2 in the game, one on some shelves with the boots and glove during Chasing Echos and from ashes at the end of Kindred Judgment, i think they both had the same enchantment so i would assume you can't find an unenchanted one.

Can't you just unenchant them?

Unfortunately there are no unenchanted RV armor, and Fin unenchanting items destroys them I believe.

Personally, since Bethesda is being very generous and giving us new stuff free of charge in their patches lately, I'd love to have the ability to Smith the Vampire and Dawnguard Armor sets.

I personally think that this would be sweet.

That a good idea maybe they will make a patch were you can make the vampire armor some day aw man I wish I could right now got 100 level smithing skill atm with my nord

I guess there actually is a Vampire Hood that you can find, still haven't found it from the 3 weeks that iv been playing Dawnguard, some say you can find it on a random encounter that a vampire is wearing but most of them who found it were sided with the dawnguard.

A hood still isn't a piece of armor providing any protection. I was surprised to see no helmet to complete the vampire armor and give the complete set bonus to people who took those perks. .
