Sooo yea... Already part of Dawnguard and then..

I arrive at Winterhold to inquire about you know who, a certain priest. Then bam, your vampire powers have awoken. What? So apparently I didn't notice and it went long enough.

Does anyone know what happens now? Will I be some sorta Helsing? Or will I be swiftly executed upon returning to the fort. I can go back a save, but I wanna know how interesting this could be.

:edit: and of course, now I notice the spelling error in the topic, wonderful.

When you contract vampireism, Whatever latin-ish name the game calls it - Sangil something or other

You have I think three game days to cure it, otherwise you become a full fledge vampire

So, if you don't want to be a vampire, reload a recent save, before you turned and either drink a cure disease potion, or find yourself a shrine.

^^^ or you can go to the guy in the bar in Falkreath and he will cure it if you become a full vampire.

I understand all that, if you read, my question was in regards to what happens if you continue as a vampire.

As a Vampire, I believe the longer you hold off from feeding, the more powerful you get, but the sun gives you worse sun burn.

You feed on people who are sleeping, and you have a few new spells/powers/buffs

Its similar to being a vampire in Oblivion

/facepalm

Maybe I need to elaborate here, what I am asking, is if you get turned into a vampire whilst doing your Dawnguard business will they attack you on sight when you return, will they cure you or will you, as I said, be some sorta Helsing and be a vampire hunting vampires.

I think you are okay, the problem would be if you become vampire lord but I think you cannot since you already become a dawnguard.... but in case I am wrong you have to investigate it by yourself, come on this game is for that don't ask people to spoil at you hehe., then you can come here and share your experience.

When you go back, you won't be able to interact with Dawnguard members as you normally would and they'll only tell you to get yourself cured.

This is spot on. They won't attack you, but you can't advance in their quest lines or buy/sell anything from them until you complete the quest "waking at dawn" or something in Dawnstar
