Ok i have found the royal armor and the boots and gauntlets and have heard there is a hood on the dawnguard side of the DLC but has anyone found one on the vampire side?

Yes. You can very easily find them. You will find that many of the quest actually involve fighting vampires and getting that armor. If you still don't get it, then you can buy it from the blacksmith in Castle Volkihar. The Vampire Royal Amor is found the same way - in the Volkihar Ruins or looted off Harkon at the end.

Also remember that there are multiple colors - black, gray, and one that is red with black sleeves if you didn't already know.
