Where is the new house? : V

I could have sworn I read in GameInformer Magazine, we would have the chance to get a new house. Is the Dawnguard castle suppose to be it? If so, I am very disappointed. I have been saving my trophy weapons, armour and misc items for my new luxury skyrim digs. Please tell my I can buy a house. My $998,459.00 is burning a hole in my pocket and in my soul. Just finished "Kindred Judgement" and I was hoping for a gift (like from the Jarls).

There is no real new housing. Yes, it svcks, but the faction bases could be worse.

Why would you want a tiny little house? You get to choose from either a castle or a fort. That really beats a house imo.
