Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 10:23 pm

I've put together a little video that showcases Auriel's Shield as well as showing what the effect is. Enjoy and feel free to give constructive criticism/yell at me.

That’s pretty awesome, if only my two-handed wielding Nord berserker used shields. Guess I'll have to make a new character. Good video too, good walkthrough and showcase of Auriel’s shield and its unique effect.

Nice. That makes 3 note worthy items in this DLC.

I think it's one of the better looking shields as well, there are wayyy too many huge shields in the game. Not enough small ones like this.

Any time. ^_^

Also, if anyone has any questions about anything else in DG pertaining to equipment, I'd be willing to make a video about it. Trying to figure out what to make a vid about next.

I have yet to find the rune items and such, so I'll probably do that. I might do the Aetherial gear, not sure though cause a lot of info is out on those already. And what do you mean by vampiric artifacta?

Aetherium seems pretty pointless imo, since you can't damage the enemies.

Bah I have to decide, I have two sheild racks in Hjerim, must decide between Aetherius shield, Auriel's and spellbreaker.

Info, yes - but I haven't seen a decent shot of the staff yet.

AFAIK vampires can get rings and amulets enhancing their abilities. Those are rewards in quests similiar to the rune item ones.

Aetherium seems pretty pointless imo, since you can't damage the enemies.
It's still a decent crowd control - and can sometimes save you/your companion.

I'm making the ultimate anti-undead character.

Ancient Falmer Armor
Auriel's Bow
Sunhallowed Elven Arrows
Auriel's Shield
Dawnbreaker

Restoration
Archery
Light Armor
One-Handed
Block
Smithing

Woot! Let all undead quake with fear!

The amulet of the Gargoyle, amulet of the bat, ring of the beast, ring of the eredite.

Aetherium seems pretty pointless imo, since you can't damage the enemies.

It would be useful for dragons( if it works on them) to avoid breath and melee attacks
While aurials shield could just asorb the energy from it and you don't have to fight a walking tank to get it.
