Nowhere that I saw screens of him is he seen with a weapon, or casting. Possibly, maybe, hopefully is this a hint that he actually uses unarmed? Note his armor, too: It is NOT a robe. Its actual pants, he has no sheathed weapons, no staff, no crackling energy on his fists that indicate magic... He's just chilling there, and 3 dead dragons at his feet.

And yeah, maybe I am hasty and over-hopeful, but come on, is possible, right? Thoughts?

He either mastered his Thu'um to the point where he doesn't need weapons or he has weapons that Bethesda wants to be a surprise. Either way he's going to be a fun opponent to face.

Well he is Dragonborn. He probably uses shouts as his main weapon. He's also an (ex) dragon priest so he is most likely a Mage.

True, but if they put in a proper unarmed tree... Would be awesome. I mean, animations are all there, why not? And it does promise 'new paths' so maybe? Being able to fight using only Thu'um would be equally badass, but still

Um, if you look at the HQ full art that was released you see him wielding spells, possibly frost. So it looks like he's a mage.

Yeah... I'm thinking the first Dragonborne's weapons will be his Thu'um.

It would be REALLY anticlimactic to finally reach such an ancient mysterious powerful character just to have him start boxing you about the ears.

You haven't seen it? It was that 6000x6000 version of the teaser (sp?) pic that was posted on the forums awhile back (apperently a press version). I have it as my wallpaper, but I'm at my phone right now :/
