sanguis is the latin word for blood

Sanguine's name is derived from the word sanguis also, meaning something to do with blood, so it makes sense...
The word vampiris is Bethesdas attempt at creating a latin sounding name for Vampire..

So is the word Sanguinarie

Sanguis is latin for blood and Vampris is just a random word they added to give people a hint that their probably going to become a Vampire from this disease.

seeing as sanguine is the daedric prince of debalchlry (probably spelt wrong) and lust he is not really a good fit. I think he is called sanguine for a different reason, probably blood, links with body links with bodily urges links with lust?
