(I see a new trend now, by the way, with Zenimax and Blizzard doing a good job with setting more modest expectations, which is good!)
As much as I think Funcom had a lot of very exciting visions for AoC. One thing that never worked out, the way dev(s) said they would, was roles.
Yes all MMOs have different roles, tank classes tank, dps classes dpses etc.
But back then dev(s) said that in AoC we would have even more roles. For instance some classes would be stronger, harder to play and more fragile than others.
Some warrior (tank) classes' job would be to stop the enemy from reaching them.
Some rogue classes job would be to slow the enemy from advancing (different kinds of cc).
It ended up like most MMOs with the typical roles we all know.
So my first question is:
Do you want your character to be able to do what the other classes can do or can a specific primary role be exciting in PvP?
My second is:
Do you think that if some classes have better synergy between themselves (like WoW) its exciting, or do you want all classes do be just as strong as team mates?
My third questions is (one we know a few answers to already):
What kind of synergies do you expect to see in PvP in TESO?
