Is there anyway at all to become a hybrid?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 3:30 am

ive been playing dawnguard with both a vampire and a werewolf character, problem is, i cant decide which one i like more,so i thought about trying to become both.

I know you could be one before but i tried that method and it didnt work, So if anyone has found a way then please tell me. (btw im looking more for a normal vampire/werewolf than a vampire lord/werewolf.)

Well, I found out becoming a werewolf for the Companions cures vampirism. I cured the lycanthropy only to become a vampire with the Volkihar some time later. I don't think it's possible to be both.

I want to have the abilities of a vampire while being a werewolf. Not too hard to understand really.

There are no such things as hybrids in The Elder Scrolls. In fact , you shouldn't be able to swap out one for the other. Once you become one, you are resistant to all disease and are forever trapped as that species, except in the very rare cases of being cured. Know that being able to swap your lycanthropy for Vampirism is nothing more than a gameplay mechanic. A poorly handled one in my opinion. In previous games you had to first go through the cure quest in order to complete the quest associated with the other species and this case SHOULD have been no different but alas it has become a trend to cater to the lazy gamer.

Ask a mod maker or even better, mod it yourself. That is presuming you are on PC of course. Which just realised you are not as you are playing DG sorry. lol

you could in morrowind but they later patched it and took it out. looked real weird you had were body and floating vampire skull where your head went. if you can do it in skyrim by glitch like morrowind it'll prolly cause just as many problems as it did in morrowind.
