Creation Kit error while saving

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 11:17 am

Hi, always i try to save my mod the creation kit say i have to close all dialog boxes(original massage: You must close all Dialog Boxes bevor saving), but there is no Dialoge box open. someone some ideas how to fix it?

some informations: I Use Windows 7 x64 with IntelCore i5-2500k @3.3ghz, directx11 and a Geforce GTX 570 with the latest Nvidia driver(306.23), Skyrim set to english and i downloaded a few mods and ENB. I'm using 2 Monitors at the same Time (but i dont think this is a problem) 2tb on to Sata plates and a SSD 120gb (only for windows and drivers)

All that i do is add the data from Skyrim.esm and try to save = error. I do some changes, add a new cell, try ro save = error.Same as i try saving without load anything. All things i tryed have no effect. A re-Install don't fix this problem.

greets Garth

Any Quest or other form being open will cause this

drag the Render Window about ... there's probably a form hiding behind that

Not a dialogue box

A form like an Actor Form, or a Quest ... you should only have 3 things in screen Object Window, Cell View and Render Window ... close everything else

Then I don't know

About the only difference between your setup and mine is dual monitor, but I havent seen anyone say CK is incompatible (if easy, maybe switch it off) ...

Are you in Navmesh Mode, or something like that?

I use a dual screen setup at home and the CK works fine for me. I don't think that would be the problem. All I can figure is window thats hiding or something.

Go to the "View" menu up top, and go to "Open Windows..." If there is anything listed there it may be what's causing the problem. There is a "Close All" button in that window as well that you could hit which may help.
