Loading the Future... : V

So I'm in Riften at night, and a thief spawns. He kills Ingum Blackbriar. I find this unacceptable so I load back 2 saves.

So I go back into Riften and instead of a thief spawning a courier spawns who hands me a letter and 100 gold.... my inheritance

.

I run to where Ingum died before and there is her body... only no thief to kill her.

Has anyone else had this happen?
