Don't have a clue why this has started all of the sudden after no problems for months. But whenever I'm in the Edit Response dialog, I can record a file, save it, and it plays perfectly in game. However, if I try to Preview my file in the CK, it says it's unable to open it, even though the file is clearly in the correct directory, named properly and in the proper format. I have files I recorded months ago as scratch dialog tracks that have been previewed dozens of times before in the CK that it will no longer play back. But again, everything works fine in game. Perplexed...

The Preview button hasn't worked for me for some time - I think a patch broke it. But it only ever played the last track recorded anyway (not necessarily the one showing), so is not a huge loss.

The preview button was designed to play the temporary recording file, not the actual dialogue line's file. As far as I know it isn't broken, it just doesn't work like you're expecting it to.

No, Alexander, mine is broken - it does not play anything, but says it cannot open the Temp.wav file (which is where it should be, by the way). Are you sure yours isn't?

Oh dear. I haven't used my preview button in like 6 months, so a patch very well may have broken it then. :/

Yeah, and you used to be able to double click where the file path is listed where it shows whether it has a voice file and lip file and it would play the clip. That don't work anymore either. None of them work.
