Yes, I've been having some trouble in Dimhollow Crypt, and by trouble I mean I'm getting killed over and over again.

Now, I'm not at a low level, I'm currently at level 31 in this game. And I can make it through most of Dimhollow Crypt pretty well. But then I reach this one point and no matter what I can't get through.

It's right before a door to a new section of the crypt, or maybe the entrance to Serana's prison, I honestly don't know as I've never made it through the door. But in front of the door is a Giant Frost Spider and a Master Vampire. And I've seen talk that some people wait behind the gate for the Master Vampire to kill the Giant Frost Spider before opening it and fighting the Vamp.

But whenever I get near the gate, the Vamp uses some type of control spell on the Spider bringing it under his control basically screwing me.

Cause I can't go up close to kill the vamp with the spider there without it killing me, and I can't go long range against the spider without the vamp killing me. So I honestly have no idea what I'm supposed to do now. How exactly do I kill these two?

If you have the slow time shout use it and then use your best ranged weapon to kill the master vampire, then go for the spider.

Sound like the vamp is using a raise spell on the spider. Whatever you do, focus all power on the vamp. When he dies, the spider will disentigrate.

get a fire storm scroll that should kill or do massive damage to vamp then move in and kill him(use slow time unrelenting force or elemental fury to help)

Crap, shouts and spells! Of course, it's been weeks since I last played, I completely forgot the using of those, lol. Thanks for reminding me.

Hmm, now I just hope I have the slow time shout.

Lower difficulty, kill them, raise difficulty again.

If you don't want to do that, go after the vampire, not the spider, as he resurrected it and as soon as you kill him the spider will disintegrate.

I like ritual stone power. Kill a few vamps, raise the dead. Wait a day, repeat.

Wait for the timer on the vampire's resurrect spell to run out. Then open the gate and kill him
