Is there a way to preview a sound in the creation kit without putting it into your mod then entering the game? It's very time consuming to do it that way. I just want to play the sound file.

I believe there is, but can't test for sure yet, in bed.

Have you tries opening the Preview window, and selecting the sound file? Like how you preview a static for example.
