Do you need to be "magic based" to be an effective V

Ok so basicly my character is a Khajit, I've played "the same" char on oblivion as well. The thing is that he is a pure assassin pretty much. I only use bows and knives and no magic. The character is evil I guess being an assassin and is quite dark, I think the idea of being a vampire on this char is cool but when I did do it and saw that you use magic it kind of put me off.

Sorry for long post but all I am asking is (WITHOUT SPOILERS) is if being a vampire lord is worth while for a character who DOES NOT use magic. i.e can you be a vampire lord and still get the perks without having to use magicka

Thanks

I have the exact same kind of character I'm doing just fine with the Vampire Lord.

My character out 0 points into magicka and did quite well. The drain attack uses so little magicka that the only time where you don't have enough is in sunlight and there is a way to fix that.
