For any gamer that over the weekend finished the vamp side of the DLC do you really bloat out the sun? is is a permanent effect or something goes wrong...does this mean the game is without sunlight now? Do any of the old Skyrim char say anything about it or they still comment on the damn arrow to the knee?

No you cannot block out the sun forever. Only in 12 hour intervals. Or how many hours it is.
