was curious: is the ck wiki set up to disallow search engine crawling? it seems that anytime i search for something, I don't get any ckwiki hits and have to go look there myself.

I get them all the time, I rarely even search from the page unless I was already there. What kind of things were you searching for?

I also encouter the wiki pages during my Google searches. Not as much as I would like though, they seem to be very poorly ranked, so I am pretty sure it could be improved.

Also this very forum disallow the search engines to index it and this is really bothersome. Instead I always get the gamesskyrim pages that mirror the ones from this site, but it cannot display code properly and there is no direct link to the original thread. I would love to see this fixed, it makes the information digging harder than it should be. If it's intentional (too much complains about the game ?), maybe only this section could be indexed ?

Also, just nitpicking, but at first glance it looks like the search box on the top right of this site is bugged. Clicking on it does not seem to grant the focus to the box and the "search..." prompt is not removed. Actually it works, its behavior is not bugged, but the visual feedback it provides is.

Just searching anything really. I think you might be right about the wiki . . . but absolutely right about the forum. It's more than bothersome, it's problematic. This is obviously a great resource not just for modding but for tshooting and generic tips. It allows inaccurate info to pass and keeps actual relevant knowledge from being disseminated.
