Anyone who has played this DLC through knows a significant part of the quest is the retrieval of three

, each weighing in at 20 points of encumbrance each. They are all quest related items, and thus, you are unable to remove them from the inventory.

However, I have already completed the quest pertaining to them, and have yet to find an opportunity to relieve myself from them. I don't remember the use of them in the MQ, perhaps there is an opportunity there?

For general context I was playing through the Vampire questline.

Then where the hell is all my encumbrance coming from.

I'll go back and try putting all my stuff in a chest, see what it is, if anything, but there's a huge chunk that doesn't seem accounted for by armor or weapons. I cleaned my inventory out of all superfluous, non-combat items, eg books, ingredients, misc.

Jesus tap-dancing Christ.

How do people keep complaining about this? Your encumberance is coming from things that tend to add up the longer you play. Soul Gems are heavier than you'd think.

So is carrying around a bunch of potions and extra sets of equipment.

Add it up.

Quest items weigh nothing, in a sense. Also, you can get rid of them by talking to Dexion after he reads them.

Quest items don't go towards you're carry weight. It just says that it weighs 20. But it actually weighs 0.

TES really needs to come up with units for weight :o
