Bug: Dragon bone weapons stack in favorite menu.

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:16 am

I like to dual wield occasionally, but one thing that bothers me is that if you have two of the same weapon both favorited they stack in your favorites.

so instead of seeing:

Dragonbone war axe
Dragonbone war axe

You see:

Dragonbone war axe (2)

This means you cannot equip them in your left and right hand individually, its only one or the other. The only way i can fix this is by improving one to be slightly better than the other.

This seems to only effect dragon bone weapons. Very frustrating.

It's always happened. It's caused by having two identical weapons.

You can still only use one, just click one of the trigger buttons again. Works for me.

Its always done that with identical items, no matter what they are. If you enchant one it wont stack up. Cant remember if smithing them different stacks them or not.

Yeah I know mate. What I would do is just enchant them differently and name them different. I had Firraga and Tirraga which was my two daedric swords of fire and lightning.

It's smithing that does it. I've tested this multiple times, and it's smithing. If you smith two of the same weapons to the same level they will do some strange things like stack, but then unstack. Sometimes if you go to equip one it equips the other, and it just gets really annoying.
