Need Help with Full LOD on objects

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:56 am

I have created an entire area and I am noticing I need to make all the Objects in it Full LOD (City walls Buildings etc).

My Problem is that there are over 1000 objects which I need to do this to, and there has to be a way to set every single item to Full LOD without individually clicking the object and ticking the Full LOD box.

If anyone can tell me how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

...and you'll probably find that by the time you've ticked 1000+ object as full LOD, the game will stutter so bad that it will be un-playable. You'll then have to go back and untick the 1000+ objects and create object lod instead -

Unfortunately that only works with custom worldspaces (I watched the tutorial) I am editing the tamriel worldspace. :(

It works with Tamriel. You only have to include the .bto file that your cell alters, not all the .bto files that are generated. Doesn't take long either.

Ok cool,

But What if I've altered like 100 cells?

Then you just find the correct .bto for the cells you've altered. The smallest .bto file is a 4x4 grid. This alone covers 16 cells. So you see, you're still not going to need them all.

Alright awsome thank you. Any idea how I find the specific BTO files which deal with my area?

Are they not named by their offset on the cell/quad grid? Like "someworldspace-32-16.bto", etc..
