I know vamp attacks are common since dawnguard but I didn't know they happen even if you don't start the quests or even hear about them. New playthrough and I'm being attacked

Well..they are Vampires, someone proposed a couple days ago that the attacks add more of a roleplay feel to the game, since it'll make sleeping at night have a purpose.

Unless you are outside they don't attack.

The attacks differentiate. Some people never get them, some always get them and a few get them once in awhile.
