SCaling in Skyrim

Scaling in Skyrim. That is: the world scaling with you.

When Skyrim wasn't released yet, Bethesda told us Syrim would at least party abolish the sin of a game-world which levels with you.
And what do we have?
Bandits running around in daedric armor.
Common buildings closed by expert locks.
Leveled dragons which use the same moves no matter how strong they are.
Randomly dropped items which are better than some daedric artifacts, but never as good as the items you crafted before.

All of that contributes to a feeling of never really improving. The enemies are always just as hard to kill (until you hit the higher levels, at which point nothing can stand up to you).
The locks are always just as hard to pick.
And the loot we find is neither unique nor especially strong, so that we never get motivated to explore a new locatiion except for exploration's sake.

So what do you think about it? Should Bethesda go back to how it was in Morrowind? Should at least some things be leveled? And how did scaling impact on your game experience?

Your perception of how level scaling works is not accurate. It makes me wonder what game it is that you are playing.

Bandits running around in daedric armor.
Bandits do not run around in daedric armor. They usually level up to at Steel Plate armor and Scaled Armor. You never see Bandits wearing Daedric Armor. I would love to see some bandits with Daedric Armor. You may occasionally see leveled charcters in Ebony, but never Daedric.

Common buildings closed by expert locks.
You do not get harder locks as you level up. Locks are fixed. Some areas have more high level locks than others. Locks do not scale at all. As you lockpicking skills go up, lockpicking becomes easier. Besides, are you serious about difficulty of picking locks? Picking locks are easy. Anyone can pick a Master lock at level 1 with a few lockpicks. Perhaps not you.

Leveled dragons which use the same moves no matter how strong they are.
Please when arguing something, be consistent. Remember that you are complaining about how things change too much as you level up.

Randomly dropped items which are better than some daedric artifacts, but never as good as the items you crafted before.
It's because you are abusing crafting. I know this is popular thing to do among newbies, but if you ease up on grinding enchanting and smithing, you may enjoy the game more.

All of that contributes to a feeling of never really improving. The enemies are always just as hard to kill (until you hit the higher levels, at which point nothing can stand up to you).
Let me guess, you are one of those crafting grinders. You are weak because you are grinding non-combat skills early. Then you suddenly get too strong when you finish your grinding. Boring way to play, if you ask me.

The locks are always just as hard to pick.
Seriously? You are complaining about difficulty of lockpicking? It's easy.

And the loot we find is neither unique nor especially strong, so that we never get motivated to explore a new locatiion except for exploration's sake.
Once again, this is because you are a crafting grinder. It's how you chose to play. Of course nothing is going to be as good as maxed out legendary double enchanted daedric armor.

So what do you think about it? Should Bethesda go back to how it was in Morrowind? Should at least some things be leveled? And how did scaling impact on your game experience?
The game seems hard and boring because the way you chose to play. Perhaps you might want to try a different way of playing. Have you tried playing without grinding smithing and enchanting?

Yeah, this statement is wrong in pretty much every level.

First, Skyrim's scaling is not even close to Oblivion's scalings, there are no Bandits with Daedric gear, most encounters have a minimum and maximum level and there are many enemies out there with static levels. Locks never scaled in any games, I don't know why you bought this up.
Second, the implication that Morrowind had no level scaling at all is completely wrong. Everything scaled with you in that game as well, cliffracers for example wouldn't appear until level 3.
