I just went up to Morhol to get some conjuration training and got hit by vamp attack: 2 death hounds and ALVA?! ALVA?!! I didn't even know what to think. I thought maybe I hit her by accident, but no, my crime journal indicates nothing wrong. So what is Alva doing attacking me? Fortunately, she is not essential to the quest Laid to Rest. But it seems strange that she would blow her cover like that. Maybe it has to do with her faction alliances? Attack a death hound and she takes it as a personal afront?

BTW, Serana managed to reanimate a chicken to help in the fight. A CHICKEN!

Chicken's can be real badasses. Just ask the Chicken Chaser. Born to combat those chickens.

Alva is a secret vampire in Morthal and is part of the quest Laid to Rest, which you have to do if you want to become Thane there. Well, she was a secret vampire. Not any more I suppose.

It looks like she's siding with the vampire faction. Which is funny considered that, after shes moves to the cave during "Laid to rest", she will remain neutral and will be attacked by the vampires there on sight.

I think it's irritating when you sneak her journal from her while she's sleeping and randomly wakes up to run to Movarth's Lair while telling you what she thinks about you or something.
