Serana has to have a high sneak skill because I've most certainly seen her do that sneaky roll... So can someone tell me why she still sets off traps? I'm pretty sure in the sneak skill tree, the sneak roll perk comes after the light step perk.

I don't mind my followers setting off traps, but I do mind it when Erandur says "Careful here: these Nordic ruins are infamous for their traps" and then puts his boots directly on one.

Haha yeah that is pretty annoying.. However it does render my sneak bonus obsolete when my companion gets detected because he/she sets off a trap.

I hate having followers when sneaking. They can sneak about as well as a mammoth.

I don't think followers have the same sneak as the player because I had Farkas with me, and I was sneaking and he got caught up on something so he was far behind, and when I looked behind me he was doing the sneak roll. I don't think Farkas has a high sneak, so I think all followers can do the sneak roll no matter what level their sneak is.

More great logic from Bethesda.

It would be nice if I could snipe with my bow without her resurrecting every body on the floor which renders my sneak bonuses on my assassin pointless.

I'm pretty sure every follower knows the sneak roll, Lydia does, farkas does (he does have a strangely high sneak and pickpocket skill though), marcurio does and serana does. I'm pretty sure all followers do.
