Werewolf or VL?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 5:01 am

I was a VL but after many many hours of roaming around ripping everyone up, and watching Underworld again, I wanted to be a WereWolf as I've never been one, since the game came out, but now, I'm starting to regret it a little, what would you say is stronger after all perks are unlocked, (I've got full VL P tree )

This is something that should be in the Dawnguard section. It's all personal preference. Do you want to be a rauaging beast with barely any negative effects, or a awesomely powerful Vampire Lord who has the powers of magic and melee, but also have negative effects of being a Vampire? I am a Werewolf, but I believe a vampire Lord is extremely powerful with a full perk tree. Some would call it overpowered, but overall, fun as hell.

I like werewolf simply because of the primal feel of it. Vampire is more of the sophisticated evil.

Yeah, Vampire Lord takes getting used too. You'll be more long range and using magic spells more often rather than charging your enemies and clawing at them as a Werewolf.

I couldn't get used to the Vampire Lord. Standing back and shooting spells around isn't that fun. Maybe I should have given it a chance, but I am more of a ravager.

I really dunno, it's like choosing my favorite between William and Marcus, but I mean the werewolf is fun.
As I've progressed my perk tree fully in VL form it's become weak as hell where the powers are concerned, it could only slice enemies to death anymore.... I do like the Primal feeling from the Wolf though....

That and the werewolf turns anything short of a mammoth or dragon into its [censored]/ragdoll/chewtoy.

I honestly don't know. I've tried changing twice, but it never works. Though it did once make me a Werewolf permanently. That was fun, but, well you know. I don't want to be a monster all of the time.

Was that the cured or cursed version of the ring?

I believe it is not cursed. The description of the ring says that I am able to transform more than once a day.

From the internet- After your initial transformation, equip the ring and go to the powers menu, a power should be ring on hiricine, select that and transform, rinse and repeat each time
