Anyways. It would be a sequel to the Civil War questline. The mission would not be to destroy the Thalmor, but to cripple the Thalmor's ability to operate if you sided with the Legion, or to completely drive out the remaining Thalmor if you sided with the Stormcloaks.

This would be "off the record" and the Dragonborn would be able to use any guilds he is aligned with to aid him (possibly except the Dawnguard or Volkihar Vampire clan because they're DLC). Or you could make your own anti-Thalmor unit by recruiting people such as fellow guild members and sellswords.

BUT after the first quest, the Dragonborn will be in a dialogue sequence with a senior Thalmor wizard. The wizard will offer the Dragonborn several incentives to betray his allies (guilds) or convince them to work for the Thalmor and for the Dragonborn to aid the thalmor in Skyrim. You would obviously have to have a high speechcraft ranking to be able to convince guilds to go with the Thalmor. Except perhaps the Dark Brotherhood who don't appear to have any allegiance to any nation.

The Dragonborn could also get off the record resources and approval from the likes of General Tullius and Ulfric Stormcloak. But if you side with the Thalmor you would also get off the record resources and approval from Elenwen.

Any thoughts? This would be a cool mod and I wouldn't be surprised if somebody is developing a mod like this but I'm on the Xbox and I'm sure a lot of console gamers like me would want a questline like this.

...I would pay ALL My MONEY for a DLC like that.

........Then again, I'd be happy with a peaceful alliance ending for the Civil War storyline.

i dont know i have never done it haha, a divided skyrim is not for me. but i knew you could do it but i was not sure of the options. But even with the truce it could still work with your idea.
