Two quick questions about Creature Souls and Camera

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:37 am

Hi guyz,

I just wanted to ask two quick things...

1) Where can I modify a Creature's Soul Level ??? - For instance Mammoth is Grand, where do I see that ??? I can't find it in creature properties or in race properties.... :(

2) Is there a way to modify the in-game camera through the creation kit??? Change angles or controls????

Thanks a lot guyz!

1) No idea about how to modify a creature's soul level I'm afraid. I had a look and it seems to be rather elusive.

2) This can be achieved by editing Skyrim.ini under the [Camera] section. If you have a look at the Skyrim Total Enhancement Project (S.T.E.P) it tells you how to do it or directs you to files you can download with pre-set settings.
Controls may be hard coded but I'm pretty sure there is a mod out there somewhere which removes the limitations on some of the keybindings. I can't recall the exact name of it I apologise.

Soul size is determined by the creature's level and type. UESPWiki has good info on it http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Souls near the bottom of the page. The only exception are actors Keyworded as NPCs, which always give Black souls.
