Can you joincomplete the Dawnguard side as a vampire? : V

My current character is a vampire, but I'm looking to try the Dawnguard side instead of the Volkihar side, while retaining my vampirism. Is this possible, or will the DG force me to cure my vampirism at some point? And if they do, is there a way to contract it again, assuming I do play through the DG side?

No. You will be asked to cure your disease before the Dawnguard allow you to do some quests.

You can become a vampire infinite times, and
