Assuming the Dragonborn choose to side with Lord Harkon, could it be that the Dragonborn along with Serana etc be the only pure-blood vampires in Tamriel?

Apologize I posted on the wrong thread... again. I thought Lord Harkon and her only say that because the DB was not turned by Molag Bal it self... I thought they were just egotistical, especially Lord Harkon.

Only pureblood vampires in Tamriel? Hell no.

You think they are the only ones who go through rituals with Molag Bal? I doubt it. There is definetly more purebloods out there in a continent as large as Tamriel, though I bet they are rare.

Edit: I love that video: "Oh and we don't take backtalk in this [censored]."

So a pure-blood could only be a female? Daughter of Coldharbour and all that. =/

I ask because on skyrim wiki (knowing that a wiki is public to editing and may not relay the truth) it states that vampire lords are "typically pure-blooded http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vampire_(Skyrim) who have either received their vampirism through another pure-blooded vampire or http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Molag_Bal himself."

Nope, males can be too.

Don't trust the wiki's. Many people add stupid stuff. "Daughters of Coldharbour" is a confluence given to females that become pureblooded vampires. I suppose males get another alternate way of becoming pureblooded, like offering souls to Molag Bal as sacrifices. Harkon himself did it and was pureblooded. Perhaps they are called "Sons of Coldharbour"?

In any case, it is extremely rare and it happens to vampires who truly know what they're dealing with.

Males can only become one by giving Molag Bal something in return that is powerful or great. In Harkon's case that was 1000 souls.

Others (men and women alike) have undoubtedly made a pact with Molag Bal so its highly unlikely they are the only ones. There are probably a few others roaming about Nirn not just Skyrim itself anyways.

Dovakiin isn't pureblood. Human (or mer) turned vampire but not pureblood. By technicality the Dovakiin is a 'halfblood' vampire.

Instead of his 1,000 souls, I'd rather Harkon got [censored] by Molag Bol
