Conjure BonemanMistmanWrathman = ash piles or not?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 5:58 am

Hi,

I will roll a new character and I'm thinking of including a few conjuration perks (been a while since I've used that school). I know these new DG spells use the necromancy perks (dark souls and necromancy) but I'm wondering if they leave ash piles behind when they die/get to their time limit. I hate ash piles with a passion.

I've deleted my previous DG build so can't test myself and I haven't found the answer anywhere.

Thanks.

They don't leave ash piles.

Great, just what I was hoping.

Really appreciated.

I hate how Sarana keeps resurrecting creatures and then making them turn into ash piles later. I will be removing that spell from her until Bethesda can make ash piles and ghostly remains remove themselves after a certain amount of time. At least conjured creatures don't leave an ash pile though (except Lucien Lachance leaves ghostly remains, which is the exact reason I don't summon him)

Don't use Soul Tear if you hate ash piles. I swear ever since I installed dawnguard its just been ash piles, ash piles everywhere.

I really wish it didn't resurrect the creature, that really wasn't needed as there are MANY spells to reanimate the dead.

But, I found a way to use it without the resurrection.
If you use the third word from Soul Tear and get an enemy on the brink of death, then kill it with something else almost instantly then you will get the soul, but no zombie.

Did not know this. Thanks for that tip.
