Where was it confirmed that this DLC will have perk reset?

I'd just like some sort of confirmation.

Says "choose new paths" in the DB description on TES website. That's where people are getting the idea from.

...

People auto assumed perk reset from that? From a vague sentence?

"New Powers
Discover dark powers as you journey into a new Daedric realm. Collect books of forbidden knowledge and choose new paths for your skills and abilities."

Seems pretty well confirmed to me.

Seems to me that it confirms more perks, and the ability to gain perks after level 50. Why would you want to reset the character you've been building for 50 levels?

Because new perk trees are unlikely since for many end-game characters, you wouldn't have the chance to get those new perks.
Alternatively, if there are new perks or perk trees, they may throw out a perk reset so that you DO have a chance to take them.

As it should. Add new perks? Give me a perk reset or ability to level past 81.

Didn't the fall out series do this every time they added new perks? Raising the level cap.

Yeah, I think they increased the lvl cap by 10 everytime they released a new DLC. Weapon packs and GRA excluded.

*sigh*

No, it wasn't confirmed. Hints, perhaps. Confirmation, no. Five bucks says you could have found your answer in a different thread.

Now can we please move on before a text war begins over what's speculation and what's actually confirmed?

No, it wasn't confirmed, but it's always a possibility. I personally don't want it, but at this point anything is likely.

Fallout's gameplay differs greatly from Skyrim. In Fallout, theres a need for an increase in level cap. Though IMO, 50 in fallout was a bit much. 30 felt perfect to me.

There's no need for a level increase in Skyrim. The addition of new perks IMO is fine, as most players don't spend perk points on skills they don't use.
