Can only one decimal place for weight be displayed?

The title says it all. Is there a way to display two decimal places for the items weight? As part of a mod I'm working on I plan to overhaul the items weight so that a butterfly wing weight is not displayed as 0.

Not as far as I know in the default UI. There was http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1423312-relz-skyui/page__view__findpost__p__21799274 the other day about enabling this, but it was uncertain whether the engine was sending the UI information with that level of precision.

The engine is indeed sending the accurate data, I've tested this out with several items and I can confirm that the actual weight goes to two decimal places. 100 butterfly wings weighing 0.01 equal to 1 more weight unit in the inventory. Too bad as you said looks like there's no way to display that level of precision in the default UI. Pity.

I'm not convinced. There have been occasions (buggy occasions) where I have seen the weights of stuff displayed to like 9 decimal places. This usually happens during a crafting menu. Perhaps this warrants further investigation?

Really? Never happened to me once. I have yet to study how the UI works under the hood but this indeed needs further investigation *back to work*

I wish I could be more helpful. I haven't actually played Skyrim for a few weeks now, but whenever I do I'll keep a sharp eye out for when this occurs to me and get back to you here. It does seem to happen fairly frequently, I've always just ignored it.

I have seen this happen, happened when i was at a smelter. I couldn't recreate it though.
