Serana, member of PETA?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 6:30 pm

I just went into the Glacial Crevice and the first thing you see up ahead of you is a couple of Falmer fighting a Frost Troll. Being curious as to the outcome of this Arena match, I sat hidden and watched the fight play out. Not much of surprise, but the Falmer won. At that point, Serana comes up with the most interesting remark: "Poor thing. I mean, I know it would have tried to kill us, but still." I found her sympathy over a dead Frost Troll rather amusing. (Especially considering how many times that bloody Frost Troll on the path to High Hrothgar killed me the first time I played Skyrim. )

She thinks blood fountains are beautiful so why not be sympathetic over a troll. Serana obviously has refined tastes  .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj7G35H-Q-g I think she is still the dark princess that was [censored] by Molag Bal, she just shows likes to show her softer side because she is trying to attract your character.

But...my character doesn't need softies!

Serana is...eh...soft. And I am no liar. She's cool and all, but I need to see more malevolent tendencies!

I like Serana being soft... but not all the time, and that is just it, I was saying she has a soft side, not that she is like that all the time. We haven't played Dawnguard, so we can't know for sure if she has malevolent tendencies, but I bet she does.

Just because one doesn't bat an eyelid at draining a human mother of two young children and stuffing her corpse in a bin (for example), it doesn't mean one isn't sentimental about animals or frost trolls. Some people treat 80% of humanity like dirt, but the're always kind to dogs or cats.

Then again, it depends. Dogs are loyal, people aren't as much.

Now, human suffering is horrible, when it is children and the undeserving, of course.

On topic: I need to play Dawnguard before even judging Serana's character all the way.

No it is because animals are helpless, humans are not.

On Topic: I agree you should wait and play Dawnguard before judging, heck, I might even hate Serana after playing it.... :lmao:

Think of the classical villain in the good ol' action movies. He hates the good guys, but he has a pet; parrot/cat/dog/wolf that he loves.

Sorry man, but I can't look at your avatar and take you seriously. Not since http://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs2/1748645_o.gif.

Anyways, yeah, I suppose so.

No it is because animals are helpless, humans are not.

Babies are helpless, children are helpless. It pisses me off that people can beat their children by the dam road and when people report it the parents can say they were just chastising them. But when a animal is seen getting punished, the dam SWAT team kicks in your door, blows your brains out, and "liberates" the animal from abusive clutches. This is one fked up world.

On topic, while Serana may be a vampire, vampirism doesnt always change the person. Her parents werent always the crazy power hungry vampires that they are now. According to Serana, they were once loving and caring, but the want for power changed them, as it does many. Thankfully though, its not the case for Serana. Nor for my vampire character, which I should probably pay a little more attention too.
