So I just finished the storyline for dawnguard. And I just wanted to share a few things I noticed along way. So the whole storyline is excellent, being a fan on the whole vampire/werewolf fantasy setting, it was interesting seeing how it all happens in Skyrim. I really enjoyed playing through all that, I didn't expect to meet Snow elves! And that fight in the cave with frozen falmer, it was pretty intense. What I also noticed was added was this immersion and depth of one of the main characters, Serana, never before have I seen characters in Bethesda games have such depth and relationship with the player. At the start when finding her in the tomb I was really sceptical and wanted to kill her right there, (My Vampire hunter/werewolf playthrough) but I thought It would be interesting to see where it was going so I helped her get to Harkon and after that I thought she would never come back. However I was later surprised when I saw her again at fort dawnguard. What was weird that after completing the storyline she just friendzones you if you wanna marry her. I mean that's not a big deal to me but all those dogs-in-this-game-have-more-character-depth-than-skyrim-wives to choose from and I definitely thought she would be available knowing the relationship you make with her during the questline. IMO this is just a troll from bethesda but no matter since this is just a RP issue. It was a nice addition to Harkon noticing you are a werewolf, but why would you make vampirisim still available? Wasn't it clearly stated that werewolves couldn't become vampires? It just seems too easy to me, "I will bite you and suddenly the beast blood is wiped off like shaving cream" Come on. I want it to feel like it's a burden or curse I can't get rid of. I understand it's another curse to hold but come on the option that is there is stupid. However I noticed something else about werewolves in dawnguard, or didn't notice... that apart Harkon NO ONE even seems to say anything or comment anything about your lycanthropy. Everyone seems to go ape[censored] about how you are a vampire and everyone is just VAMPIRES THIS OH MY GOD VAMPIRES THAT, WE ARE THE VIGILANTS OF STENDAR ! WE ARE DAWNGUARD YOU ARE A VAMPIRE DIE FIEND! What?! Aren't The followers of Stendar all daedra hunters, vampire hunters etc, including werewolf hunters?? I understand you didn't see more vigilantees apart from the start of the DLC but still dumb how no one ever commented said anything about you being a werewolf... I suppose it's not much of a deal but oh well. Overall I think this first DLC was a big success. I haven't encountered ANY Bugs apart from a few which were not a problem. Which is a nice addition, but the fact that we pc players had to wait 1000000000000000000 days for the dlc to come and ps3 players still in wait doesn't make me any happy because the same thing is probably going to happen again.

Yes, it is a very enjoyable DLC.

Sorry bro but the fact that you're a pc player gives you no greater entitlements than the rest of us. Microsoft paid for the exclusivity of I believe two DLCs so yeah there's another wait to come once the next one arrives.
