What dialogue choices are needed to get the "amulet of Mara" dialogue from her? Do I need to be on speciffic side? Answer in speciffic way? I know that it checks after returning from Soul Cairn, but on my playthrough I did not got the dialogue option. Also on the side note: Am I the only one who gets a vampiric dialogue choice on the dawnguard questline in Forgotten Valey? I am not asking if she is marriagable (I know she is not). I want to know If something bugged, or there are conditions for this option to appear.

I've had the same problem. I am rerunning it right now and to be safe I am not ever letting her leave my side. Last time I told her I would meet her at Castle Volkihar while did some other stuff. Not sure if that was the problem. Also, I found that right after you enter the cistern but before you fight the feral vampire there is a dialogue option to ask her if she was lonely. I didn't see that on my run through when I was "available" but I did see it when I was already "married." So now I am going to try to get that option while I am still "single."

You'll get the "lonely" conversation fairly early in the quests(looking for her Mom) and it makes no difference if you're "single".

Crap, I am still not getting the marriage dialogue stuff.

I just finished "Beyond Death" and came back to Breezehome. So me and Serana sit down for a little chat and I put on the Amulet of Mara. What do I get? Nothing. According to the wiki you are supposed to get the dialogue option after the Beyond Death quest.

At this point I must assume my game is bugged and I will never get to see her give her little speech about avoiding temples and such. Can anyone point me to a youtube video where she gives this little speech? I would very much like to see it.

Anyway, I've sent her away now while I go do other stuff, including marrying Jordis.

i managed to get it now. The wiki is wrong because I got the dialogue before Beyond Death quest, and it depends on your answer. When the dialogue option about her family pops out. You need to answer with something with lonely in it, and after that "Do you still feel lonely?" After this and getting the amulet of mara/marriage possibility a new dialogue should pop out about how she is feeling lonely. She questions you about your personal life, and the right answer is that you are happy about that Serana is with you. After that the marriage dialogue "Did you thought about marriage?" should pop out. My work here is done.

Guess I'll have to try that with a character that isn't married... most of them are though haha.
