Vampire Attacks on TownsCities?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:20 pm

I just want to know if the vampire attacks in towns and cities only happen if you are in that town or if they happen both when you are there or away. Basically, do they only spawn within your radius?

ONLY if you are near enough for it to happen, and usually at night.

Well I have seen vampire attacks very far (not visible by my character). A chance I walked to the gates instead of fast travel or I couldn't have saved Carlotta.

True, but cities with their own 'cell' work differently; you must be inside them for the attacks to occur (which in that case you'd be 'safer'). If you are near open villages, instead, (e.g. Riverwood, Rorikstead) vampires will spawn as you'll load the first, nearest cell around the open city, which in that case you'd be less 'safe'.

The vampire attacks can happen to far away. In Solitude they always attack in the middle of the city, to far to sprint to from front gate or blue palace. The same for Riften as well, its always a reload fest. Vamp attacks in cities should just be removed and left in the wilds. Only a small vocal number of people that like npcs being killed and having a dead world.

You have nothing intelligent to say, you use that same lame saying all the time. I just read it again in the dragon attacks in cities & town folks thread....you're so original.

No need to be rude, man. If you want hardcoe posts, you should PM the pros to get what you are seeking, instead of start arguing with this nonsense.

Vampire attacks is a feature, not a bug, how many times is it needed to be said already?. No, they shouldn't be removed because it is not a problem, guards are there for a reason. Civilians will help you fight them. If you happen to have an NPC killed, just the reload the crap out of your game. If you are roleplaying, God have mercy.

Also, I feel bad for you for not picking up some good humour that isn't about either bronies, dogs, or cats. Instead, you call trolls someone that just doesn't want to post seriously? I call this fascism.

Thank you, some people cant take a little joke. And if people really have a problem with vamps, at the end of the day they can just reload. If they weren't paying attention to the game to see that vamps are attacking npc's, well tough. Thats life. Deal with the consequences.
