Just got the Ancient Falmer Armor after killing Vythur. I very much want to wear it, but I am having trouble thinking of an excuse to use it.

For Thieves Guild quests I wore Thieves Guild armor or Nightengale armor. For the Civil War I wear Imperial Light armor. For Skuldafen and the final battle with Alduin I plan on wearing Ancient Nord armor with the Helm of Ygnol. For Nordic Ruins I was thinking about using Dragonscale armor.

Where might Ancient Falmer armor be appropriate? Perhaps Dwarven ruins? Kind of a revenge motif?

Thoughts?

You could wear it to regal events, or important quests in the northern holds, because the color would match the surrounding. Since my Altmer looks like a Snow Elf, I wear it whenever.

You're the dragonborn, the Dovakhin of legend, everyone expects you to standout and look the part...wear what you want, when you want...and if people don't like it, fus do ra them off a cliff.

haha. funny how just finding something to wear is SO important. I feel like a woman when I play. I'll spend an hour going through everything in my storage chest trying to decide what to wear. Will I be heading somewhere cold where warm and heavy is a good idea? Or going somewhere warm and wearing light clothing is best?

I did a clean out of my inventory last night...what with carrying heavy armour, light armour and 'visiting appropriate' clothing, such as embroidered gear for the Blue Palance, and scummy gear for the peasant's taverns, plus similar gear for various followers, I ditched around a 100 weight. I'm a bit of a rpg'er, so I don't mind too much, but this thread got me thinking about it, and I was surprised at how much 'junk' I was carting around. Weapons were the worst...dragonbone greatsword, two-handed katana (mod), two other katana's (dragonbane and harkon's), one steel hand-axe, two daggers (dragonbone and valkyr's), shiv, bow. Only one shield though, small mercy.

Plus I had a full range of portable camping gear (mod) and more junk loaded on my horse. I think I was carrying enough stuff around to compete with the khajit traders.
