Serana attends my wedding

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 7:29 pm

After many fruitless tries, I finally managed to get Serana's marriage dialogue about how she doesn't want to go into temples. Hooray!

Now that I have got to hear the Dhovakin get rejected I am finally free to get married. So, Serana, you and me are going to pay a visit to my house in Solitude where I know someone who is just dying to get hitched with the dragonborn. Not only that, but you are coming to the wedding with me. We will just see about this whole temple avoidance BS.

Hmm, Serana. What are you doing in the temple? Watching me get married, huh? You could at least stay seated for the ceremony instead of getting up half-way through and wandering about. I guess Valerica never taught you manners.

So, Serana, can't enter a temple, huh? Yeah, right. Now what's your story? What new song and dance are you going to come up with now? Jealous a bit? Well, its too late girl. The dragonborn is married. :P

Yeah Yeah, it's been done before, she will even go and activate the alter if you command her to and wear the amulet of Mara if you give it to her. Go figure that one out!

Well you have noticed, coffins are only ever made for one. It will be a marriage without lover's comfort.

You're going to make her unhappy and she's not going to be your bestest friend forever...

Remember, she's a teenage girl...not all those ice spears in your back will be 'accidental'....

I think it was a Frank Langela (spelling) movie Dracula where he was in the coffin with ummmm, not Meana.... they change the names around for that version, her anyway at the end just before he was killed? They looked kind of happy in there.

Lol. You'd have to open the lid every time you change positions.

I guess it would be more a knocking kind of sound instead of the usual bed spring creak noises.

At least with bat wings, swinging off the chandelier wouldn't be so dangerous...sharp teeth could be a problem though...

In Daggerfall, Morrowind, and in Oblivion, vampires would experience "Divine Damage", similar to Sun Damage, while in a temple.
Though it seems to not be present in Skyrim, this may explain the "aversion" to temples.
