Wasn't there some kind of giant ogre type thing?

I've finished the main quest in Dawnguard, thoroughly explored the Hidden Vale ect. I'm pretty sure I've seen all the new stuff. But there were a couple of things in the trailer that I seem to recall that I may have missed, and I can't watch it right now because I'm down to my last few megs of data and I'll lose my high speed connection if I go over it.

I recall some kind of giant kind of thing bursing out from some ice ( don't think it was the docile frost giants in the Vale). Where was that? And a female Dawnguard with a crossbow shot what looked like a zombie, what I took to be maybe a ghoul (a vampire slave), and a bow that had a distinc jagged appearance to the shaft.

Was any of that in there? I can't wait until the end of the month when my data is reset.

Bursting out of the ice?

You mean the dragon twins?

I just watched the trailer...
some kind of giant kind of thing bursing out from some ice
That would be one of the dragons you fight on the frozen lake. They can dive in and out of the ice.
You also see a Gargoyle burst out of its rock form.

And a female Dawnguard with a crossbow shot what looked like a zombie, what I took to be maybe a ghoul
There's a female using a crossbow, but you can't see what she's shooting.
There doesn't seem to be any "ghouls" or "zombies" in the trailer. Just vamps and gargoyles.

a bow that had a distinc jagged appearance to the shaft.
I think that might be the Dragonbone Bow. (I never crafted one, so not sure) But it's definitely using a Dragonbone arrow.

Dragonbone weapons!
One of the great things Dawnguard added...
(Plus arrow crafting as well.)
I thought Dawnguard was epic.
Very well done.

If you've collected the paragons, then yes, you've killed the frost troll...giant...things. I blame Gunmar. Only he would be sick enough to lock a giant and a troll in a closet.
