Face sculptornamechange

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 8:20 am

I have been looking for discussions on the Face Sculptor. I found some but did not seem able to respond so will pose my query on a new topic title:

The description on face sculptor that I read said one could change any aspect of one's character EXCEPT race and six. So, that led me to hope that I could change my character's name.

I named my character (or so I thought) but when I came away from the chopping block I was named Prisoner. Apparently I must have hit the wrong button or some other accidential advancement. I have left this character in Whiterun, hoping I would find a way to "name" her, but I guess I'll just have to delete her and create another.

After I added Dawnguard and Hearthfire and found the Face Sculptor my hopes for her were revived but from the discussions I have read she is doomed to be named Prisoner forever or be deleted.

Any thoughts or other suggestions?

The Face Sculptor is in essence the Plastic Surgery Menu from fallout invoked using a new command.
I would not try invoking it on a vampire.
The vampire races are not exactly base races for the player.

Yeah I kinda wish you could change the name. That's why I hate the fact that Skyrim's tutorial doesn't allow you to respec your character at the end, unlike the previous 3 Beth games that do allow you to respec at the end of the tutorial. New Vegas is a little bit different, I wouldn't save at the end of the tutorial unless you want the same items from Doc Mitchell's house or the same face with a different name.

You never "spec"'ed your character in the first place..

open the console if your on the pc and type in showracemenu.

As for being a vampire and using the Facechanger she will tell you its not possible to change your face as you have already chosen your own way to remake yourself.
